Tips
You can link to wikipedia articles with this shorter syntax—rather than the full link [[wikipedia:Talpidae|Talpidae]]
Additional notes
- Sorex bendirii is morphologically (dark venter and indistinct toe fringes versus silver-gray venter and distinct toe fringes in S. palustris) distinct (from other water shrews). Hope et al . 2014 - Use Hope et al. 2014 for ranges of S. palustris and S. bendirii - ID: Nagorsen et al. (2017) demonstrated that that parapatric S. navigator and S. palustris can be distinguished morphometrically.
