Category:Species with sound recordings

From WhiskerWiki

Acoustic data is one of the least-documented aspects of small mammal biology. Many rodents and shrews call at ultrasonic frequencies we can't hear, so their vocalizations go unrecorded. Yet calls can separate look-alike species, show behavior, and support acoustic monitoring in the field. The species below have sound on WhiskerWiki, either recordings contributed by research labs and hosted here, or links to recordings at xeno-canto.
